Love. I can definitely see myself wearing the day outfit! And the night one is great too. I’ve been looking for a way to dress up my new high waisted skirt! Thanks!
okay so here’s the story with me :
i’ve been attending private school my whole life (and by private school i don’t mean the posh life on the upper-east side, but more of a catholic high school in the suburbs of canada .. still), but since i graduated this year i’m attending public college for the next two years (that’s how it works in my province, no choice), which means NO MORE UNIFORMS . which also means i get to wear what i want (duhh), so i am soaking up every bit of outfit inspiration i can get, to do a huuugggee shopping spree come the end of summer and for all of my peers to deem me fabulous as soon as the first bell rings .
just thought i’d share .
because the outfits you just posted (above) are part of that inspiration, so i thought i’d give you the whole background info .
I really don’t like high-wasted denim skirts. You remember the denim post, right? I just think they look frumpy! I love that striped top in the first one!
two great combination! lyndsay, you have a great sense of style. but i need alexa chung legs to wear that skirt. i will wear it anyway. lyndsay, thank you for your great posts. sometimes i dont know what to wear and you help me.

Is this your sideways way of telling me that I look frumpy in my blue one? Thank you.

I love this look, provided the skirt is the right size. I buy them one size bigger to leave room for tucking in T-shirts.
