Words cannot portray my excitement that Season Two of Skins is almost here. I was veritably obsessed with it last year.
When I saw that trailer, my first thought was “Wow! I want to have a party like that!” and my second was “What is this show?!”.
Even though Skins’ writers insist the series represents the everyday lives of teenagers today, it’s a bit unrealistic… It would be a whole lot more believable if the characters were in college but they’re all supposed to be aged between 16 and 18.
Nevertheless I was hooked. And the second series looks just as promising.
I love Cassie, the endearing, anorexic, ditzy, space cadet whose vocabulary extends as far as “Like… wow… really lovely…totally… cool”.
